After travelling from India to Sri Lanka it was our pleasure to find the Oak Ray Regency in Kandy. We would like to acknowledge the excellent service of Reception Management Shani where nothing was a problem. Also to the dining Restaurant Managers Sisil Perera and Madagama and all of their staff for excellence in food and service. Thank you Oak Ray Regency we will return.
I stayed with my partner for one night on the way to trincomalee through out our drive just to relax, finally we just stopped over here for a refreshment but decided to stay for one night since the service we got from the staff. We had a nice room overlooking the paddy field which was more relaxed and comfortable. We had the breakfast at the hotel it was tasty and much more enough for our next drive. I would like to thank all the staff who gave their maximum service to make our stay memorable & comfortable. Could be highly recommended for all nationality.
Me and my husband went on mini trip to hill station, could not found a better place than this stay over,
the room was with the stunning view of ramboda fall and surrounded with greens and mist.the staff was really friendly and were kind enough to prepare a special bed decor and send a delicious cake to the room my husband mentioned it's our 1st wedding anniversary, simply wow
Excellent staff with the best attitude, plenty of parking space at convenience, spacious resort. Rooms clean and well equipped with amenities. Staff arranged adjacent rooms as per our request. We had an issue with our vehicle and asked for a late checkout. Even though they were busy with this long weekend, they arranged a late checkout going beyond their standard procedure. I have to specially mention Asitha at reception who listened to us and arranged a good stay for my family. We had a great time at the hotel with our 12 months old baby. Even at the restaurant they gave us special attention and made us comfortable with the baby. I will visit this hotel again. Great value for money.
Stayed only 1 night - but couldn't ask for a more value-for-worth place (: staff were friendly and polite, service was excellent. room and bathroom were clean and sufficiently stocked, there was a hair dryer, mini bar, and every room had its own balcony overlooking the pool or the lawns. location was perfect, just a 10min tuk tuk from Sigirya Lion's Rock. bus to Dambulla passes by the road right outside the villa.
would highly recommend staying here!
Ella Gap Hotel, I had an incredible stay here. The staff were very welcoming, (especially Fernando hotel manager) the facilities were incredible, swimming pool, lovely clean rooms, food was great and the breakfast was fit for a king.
Im struggling to say a bad word.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
This quiet and peaceful property, away from the hustle and bustle of Bentota town, is an ideal holiday getaway. The ocean facing rooms are large and spacious, with an equally large bathroom (with a tub) and a balcony overlooking the pool/ocean. Service is excellent. The staff is friendly, courteous and ever willing to help. The F&B manager at the restaurant ensures excellent service. The food served is decent. They have a lovely pool and direct access to the beach.
We had a very pleasant stay at this property and would love to return.
It was an amazing place to be.
Location with an awesome view Good n tasty food Friendly staff Easy access to surrounding attractions Would recommend to any one who plan to visit Nuwaraeliya.
Walked around central Ella on our one night here and chose this place. Very busy but ample seating available. A lot to choose from on the menu but the dishes we ordered were nice including the devilled prawns and chicken wings. The kottu main we order was good but a little bland. This was quickly rectified by the staff by providing chilli paste and gravy. Nice atmosphere, very relaxing. The staff and manager was always on hand to assist and provided excellent service dispite the crowds. Will definitely be back!
We stayed here for two nights with our tour.
Spacious bedroom with balcony and large en suite. Spotlessly clean. Great water pressure in shower. Very helpful and courteous staff. Wonderful pool to cool off in after a hard days sightseeing. Short, cheap tuk tuk ride into or out of town - great way to meet locals and hone your bargaining skills ! or taxis can be arranged by staff. Wonderful breakfasts.
Such a beautiful and peaceful place. The staff made us fell so welcome and the service level was extremely high. They really did everything to make us enjoy the stay, which we did.
Unfortunately we only staid for one night, would have liked to stay longer.
We enjoyed a nice dinner after our safari and the next day we spend some hours swimming and relaxing by the pool.
The room we stayed in was very clean and ultra spacious with stunning views over Kandy city. Some may prefer more central accommodation as it is located on a hill a short tuk tuk ride from the city centre. However, we loved the fact that it was a little outside the hustle and bustle. The wi-fi can be sketchy at times and it does need to be noted that the hotel has no elevator and is still under construction but we had no issues with this. There is a large variety of food offered to cater for many tastes. During our stay we lost a phone and the reception staff were very very helpful in corresponding in Sri Lankan with unknown locals in order to assist us in getting the phone returned. They did everything we asked them to in order to help us with the situation.
If we travel through Kandy again this will be our pick for accomodation.
The hotel was really nice and we enjoyed the stay. The rooms were awesome and the view from the balcony was mesmerizing and beautiful.
The food was great with lots of variety and delicious taste. The place was really nice and we enjoyed staying there.
The place was clean and comfortable,
we arrived late and the security care out and lead us straight the room,
which we appreciate as we were tired.
They then allowed us to sleep before checking in the following day which was a nice touch!
